Jeremy's First Visit to the Dentist

I can't remember exactly, but I think we took Grace to the dentist when she was 3 (I'm sure it's recorded somewhere on this blog).  We kind of dropped the ball with Jeremy and he just had his first visit a few weeks ago (he's 5).  Jeremy did great- he was calm, cooperated, and wasn't scared at all!  Sadly though, I guess we only have ourselves to blame for the fact that Jeremy has 3 cavities! Yikes!  I didn't have my first cavity until I was 33!!!!  Apparently, since my dentist is not a pediatric dentist, we actually have to take him to see someone else.  Boo...

Wow, look at Jeremy. All smiles! You can really see in his face that he enjoyed his first dental appointment. I say that he's not scared at all, so you're a proud mom! :) It's indeed better if you find a pediatric dentist though. You'll be confident that he will be able to meet all your child's dental needs.

Looked like Jeremy had fun with his first visit. As far as I can see, the assistant on the photo seemed to know what she was doing, and she was able to get into Jeremy's comfort zone. I hope the procedure got rid of those pesky cavities!

Did you already find a reliable pediatric dentist for Jeremy? It's been months since his last visit, and you need to take him to the clinic for another appointment anytime soon. It felt good to see your son not being afraid of the dentist, right? He's such a brave boy!
